About Avalanche:

Presumably Avalanche had been started years before they took any action, and basing this on the fact this roleplay will be set just after the last order and zacks death, there will be a few soldier that had left shinra or soldiers that will count as outcasts, as well as people who fight for the planet... this will be avalanche and Shinra outcasts.

It is their mission to save the world in which the game takes place from the conduct of the Shin-Ra Company, a multi-conglomorate industry which effectively controls that world.
