Vergil. 19 year old swordsman. Wielder of the Yamato Blade.

At the age of 15, Vergil was recruited as a SOLDIER, learning under Sephiroth himself. Although he was weak when he was first in, he learned the fast style of the Dark Slayer. When he became 17, Sephiroth left the SOLDIER's, leaving Vergil alone and helpless. Learning now under a mysterious force, Vergil used his sword to escape from SOLDIER like the legendary swordsman once did

Two years later, the Massacre of Saint Jendo saw the reappearance of Vergil. The sword he wielded to kill the people was a demonic blade, a sword only known as The Yamato Blade. A heirloom from his old parents, he wielded it to kill all those that got in his way... and the ones that killed his parents.

Utilizing the Dark Slayer, and wielding the Yamato, Vergil... has awoken.
